About the Event
Continuing on our trail shaping and maintenance traditions this is going to be another Trail Collectors maintenance day. We all love to ride nice trails, but for those to exist, they must be built first and then maintained.
This tail-shaping session will be on the most amazing trail in our entire region, the Frankenstein trail. The objective of this session is to remove fallen branches and drees where possible and create go-arounds where not to restore the trail's flow. This winter a lot of trees fell so we need a larger group in order to make a meaningful difference we count on your generous support and hope you join us in numbers for this noble cause!
The work session will be followed with BBQ and Beers supplied by the Trail Collector Club and a shuttle-assisted ride session to sample the restored trail flow!
If you have please bring with you some Trail building tools such as:
pruning saw, small branch clippers, pickaxes, hoes, buckets or digging shovels if you have some, and if not we will also have some tools with us.
At least 1l of Water!
Some food as you will certainly get hungry while working
Proper pair of gloves and eyeglasses for safety!
